Voor vrachtwagens die middelzwaar laden, is de HIAB T-038 de ideale keuze. De kraan is verkrijgbaar met twee, drie of vier hydraulische uitschuifdelen, heeft een hefcapaciteit van ruim 2,3 ton als hij niet is uitgeschoven en een reikwijdte tot 7,2 meter als handmatige uitschuifdelen worden gebruikt. Deze kenmerken maken de kraan ideaal voor het verwerken van lading, zoals zware tuinuitrusting, midddelgrote machines en bouwmaterialen.
