HIAB loader cranes

Image

Low-built for smaller footprints

All HIAB cranes are designed to fit within the cab profile. Complete trucks can, therefore, be transported with freight aeroplanes and stay well within railroad regulations when fitted on a truck. Low-height cranes offer 360-degree protection around the vehicle from machine gun on top of the cab roof. With HIAB cranes, highly efficient use of installation space gives you an overall small footprint.

Quality proven in action

HIAB loader cranes are built for uninterrupted work, with high-tensile steel, reliable seals and protective covers that resist weather and impact. Our cranes undergo a punishing series of lab and field trials, and they are proven in action around the world. The core ranges offer a flexible customisation programme to suit specific needs, such as air-transportability, climate/terrain conditions or specialized installations.

Simplifying control in the field

In high-stress conditions, every moment saved is an advantage. With Crane Tip Control (CTC), you no longer have to manoeuvre each boom to coordinate your crane’s motion. Instead, using basic space geometry, the computer selects the ideal path from one point to another, so you can focus on your load instead of on your crane’s motion. CTC gives you quick, precise control with minimal effort in any situation.

Envision safer, smarter load handling

Our award-winning HiVision™ connected system incorporates Virtual Reality goggles, controllers, and cameras to increase precision, speed and safety. The system enables the crane operator to work the loader crane from the comfort of the truck cabin. High-quality cameras capture the optimal vantage point and image-processing algorithms enhance contrast and quality even in difficult lighting situations. A heads-up overlay displays essential information about the truck and crane system, making it always available without obstructing the operator’s view.

First developed for the civil market with application in the forestry crane business, Hiab GBO is now adapting HiVision to defence applications. The main benefit for defence applications is that the operator can manoeuvre the loader crane from the safety of the truck’s armoured vehicle cabin. Hiab is also developing its tool offering which enables a load to be attached and detached to the crane boom without any need to leave the vehicle cabin. Further benefits are also considerable, including: gains with speed of operation, lower fuel consumption and driver comfort. With HiVision, you also gain new possibilities for autonomous operation.

MULTILIFT hooklifts

Low height within regulations

With their low centre of gravity and lower loading angles, our MSH hooklifts are the ultimate solution for moving heavy loads in fast phase. The lower installation height keeps you well within road regulations, and means you can carry taller demountable bodies, maximising payload volume.

Simplify loading with Vision technology

Discover improved operational efficiency and safety with our HiVision camera technologies. This connected system gives the operator control from within the cabin using Virtual Reality goggles, controllers, and connected cameras. Proven in everyday, tough practice, HiVision provides precise operation, saves time, increases safety and opens new logistical advantages.

Full flexibility

As interoperability with worldwide partners becomes a key operational requirement, hooklifts are a success standard. Many defence forces have adopted the “NATO STANAG 2413” flat-rack and the “ISO 668” 20’ freight container as a standard unitized transport medium to maximise international and intermodal interoperability. Hooklifts provide total flexibility, as each vehicle in the fleet can deploy with any compatible body type and change quickly from mission to mission.

Quick and easy field service

MULTILIFT demountables are built for uninterrupted work, with high-tensile steel, single castings in critical areas, high-quality cylinders, reliable seals and protective covers that resist weather and impact. Yet when routine maintenance or service is needed, we’ve made it as self-sufficient and fast as possible. Key components are located right where you would expect them, within easy access. Wear parts are bolted on and easy to change on the go.

MOFFETT rough terrain forklifts

Image

Your all-terrain workhorse

The MOFFETT rough-terrain forklift’s reliability and adaptability have become legendary with those that use them day in and day out. Tough construction makes it a reliable workhorse that can manoeuvre through extreme weather and tight compounds without breaking a sweat. No terrain is too rugged. Its low centre of gravity adds to its stability and each model can be tailored to suit your needs.

Keeping your cool indoors

We tailor your MOFFETT to handle any environment you need, including specialised options to comply to the JSP 482 standard (“CAT C”) for operation in explosive storage environments. Our safety innovations include: water-cooled manifold, stainless steel spark arrestor/exhaust system, battery isolator, glow plug guard rail, electrical conductive tyre assembly, insulated boots on alternator, starter and battery positive terminal, and more.

Multiple mission configuration

From parachuting out of a C-130 to working inside ISO containers, you’ll find a MOFFETT to go anywhere and handle any mission you have. MOFFETT has become an important asset in key logistics, including helicopter support, stores management, and frontline support. With the ability to add attachments such as a hole-boring auger, barrel clamps, squeeze forks, fork petitioners and a folding boom, a MOFFETT transforms into a multi-role machine.

Tail lifts

Lift your expectations

For extra-tall trucks or other vehicles with high ground clearance, ZEPRO tail lifts offer very high lifting capacity. With strong Swedish steel, four-cylinder design for maximum stability, and specialised hydraulics, we help you meet any expectation in defence lifting. The higher the better.

Image

Rough and ready

ZEPRO tail lifts are built tough to go where you need them without missing a beat. Strong Swedish steel combines low weight and high strength. Oil and hydraulics in ZEPRO tail lifts cope well with the extremes of both hot and cold climates. Plus, our surface protection using powder paint process ensures long-term component reliability. Altogether, it’s quality that helps you deliver to the highest standards.

Clearing deep water

When fording rivers, creeks and other water obstacles, you can rest assured your ZEPRO tail lift will follow through. With a special hydraulic/electric unit placed high to avoid water, any truck or container capable of fording deep water can carry a ZEPRO tail lift into action.

More than lifts

Out in the field, you need to use anything and everything you have on hand to get the job done. ZEPRO tail lifts and ZEPRO operators are both smart and resourceful. Our tail lifts function in a variety of practical applications – from serving as an operator platform for maintenance to doubling as a table for coffee breaks.
