Strategic Evolution: Hiab Transitions to a Partner-Led Model in Australia with Maxilift Australia

As part of this strategic shift, we have signed an agreement with Maxilift Australia to acquire the shares of Hiab Australia. Following the closing of the transaction, Maxilift will continue its operations as our official Master Distributor for Australia, excluding Western Australia, which will continue to be served by our partner Western Australia Truck Machinery (WATM).

A shift to continue building Hiab presence in Australia
This transition represents a geographical optimization expanding operational and commercial excellence. Maxilift Australia is a long term partner, and has a strong plan for Hiab solutions in  Australia. Our joint ambition is to increase customer support and our business in Australia.
By combining Hiab's world-class product portfolio with Maxilift’s exceptional regional presence, our Australian customers will benefit from a market leading service network, faster distribution, customer support and more agile field support.

Under this new structure, Maxilift will assume full operational responsibility for the sales, distribution, and aftermarket service of Hiab’s premium equipment lines, including HIAB loader cranes, MOFFETT truck-mounted forklifts, MULTILIFT hooklifts, and our smart HIPERFORM solutions suite.

What happens next?
Our primary objective is to ensure a smooth transition. To this end, for the immediate future, customer contact points within Hiab remain as-is.
