Smarter waste & recycling in Odense

SAWO Odense, in collaboration with Volvo Vestergaard, has delivered a HIAB crane to Odense Renovation A / S. 

The crane is a HIAB X-HiPro 232 E-4 XSD with four hydraulic extensions, giving it a reach of 12.8 meters. The crane is easy to operate with the XS Drive radio control and the optional CTC (crane tip control) and SAF (Semi Automatic Folding).

The crane is mounted behind the cab of a Volvo FM500 8X2 with a K 5100 chassis.

In addition, there is also a bottle emptier that can be operated from the crane’s grab function. This is installed inside the crane arm and is used for emptying bottle containers and Molok® waste containers. 

The build-up has been delivered to Odense Renovation A / S, a company that works with waste collection and disposal.
