Finland's Summer Hook

Every year Scania Finland builds a “Summer Truck” that tours the country in exhibitions during the summer season.

This year there was a special twist. The truck was equipped with a MULTILIFT Ultima 24SL.61 and fittingly nicknamed “Summer Hook”. The truck itself is a customised Scania G 540 B8x4*4NB CG20N painted orange.

The Ultima range is MULTILIFTS most recent model and is engineered with radical innovations that ensure greater control, safety and productivity in any loading duty. It is very quick to operate as it comes equipped with Fast Speed, Fast Lowering, Fast Tipping and Automatic sequence control. The hooklift was painted with the signature black & orange colours of the Raisio multi-assembly unit where all MULTILIFT equipment is made.

The “Summer Hook” gathered many admiring looks but for one of it was love at first sight — she just found a home with Kuljetus Mattila where she will be making deliveries for the metal industry in Southern Finland.
