The latest heavy-duty column lift offers a robust design that provides a safer, more economic and durable solution. Ideal for demanding work environments, the lift is now lighter at 60 kg (specification dependent). The platform lock protrusion has been removed to reduce the risk of entrapment, and optional safety features include trolley stops and safety guards. New wear pad material for columns and chains has also been added to reduce maintenance requirements.

This is the simplest solution, the guards can be
fitted to any type of platform, on any type of tail lift
‘Pockets’ set into the platform allow the guard to
be dropped into position. When not needed
the guards are stored within the vehicle. These
type of guards can be retrofitted to tail lifts already
fitted to vehicles.

Drop in Detachable Guards

Permanently fixed to the platform.
Three positions possible.
1. Opened, to form a ramp from the platform
to the ground.
2. Locked vertically, to act as a trolley stop.
3. Folded back onto the platform surface before
platform is closed, prior to vehicle movement.

Hinged Rear Ramps

The spring activated trolley stops are recommended
as an alternative to hinged ramps, if wheeled
trolleys are loaded/unloaded. The stop is “inactive”
until the lever is slid back by foot. When released,
the trolley stop springs open automatically,
preventing wheeled trolleys from rolling off the
platform.

Trolley Stops

Operate in the same way as the above but fixed to
the side of the tail lift platform instead of the rear. This is only suitable on certain specs of DL500 Lift.

Hinged Side Ramps

We have the ability to increase the overall working
size of the platform to suit a wide range of application
needs. Please contact our sales teams with

help you spec the correct platform size for your
needs.

Extra Deep Platforms

Our latest innovation, these guards offer the best
of both worlds. They operate in the same way as
the auto erect but with an additional feature.
Instead of being permanently fixed to the platform,
we have designed a quick release system to allow
the guards to be manually pushed upwards and
held securely in the upright position. This permits
the platform to be loaded/unloaded from the side.
When the guards are next required, simply unlatch
from the vertical position and re-attached to the
end of the platform.
