Constantly exposed to the elements, your crane needs the best in surface protection. HIAB nDurance is the industry’s most effective high-tech painting system, with a technologically advanced and environmentally sound process based on nanotechnology and e-coating.

Your crane’s parts are first shielded by an ultra-thin nanoceramic layer that prevents corrosion. Afterwards they receive a lacquer polymer e-coating and a durable powder coating, which create stunning good looks that will last your crane’s lifetime.

Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF) is a feature that allows the operator to fold and unfold the boom system in one single sequence, using only one lever. SAF is available both for XSDrive 6 levers and for XSDrive joystick controllers.

The folding and unfolding is operated to/from normal folded position (Napoleon folding). It is one, fixed sequence of movements. The operator decides the speed of the movements adjusting the lever stroke.

Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF)

CTC is a software feature in HIAB's HiPro control system that simplifies loader crane operation. Motions that used to require the simultaneous control of up to three crane operation can now be performed using one lever.

*Available as an option for up to 5 extension for X-HiPro models 142 and 162 and up to 6 extension for X-HiPro 192 and 232, and for 3 extension for L-HiPro models. The technology will be introduced on more crane models.

CTC - Crane Tip Control

With the HIAB Bucket Kit for Tipper Trucks, crane operators can work both efficiently and safely. An integrated control platform provides the optimal perspective for digging and filling work, while built-in guard beams keep the operator protected at all times.

Integrated Safety Platform

LSS automatically compensates for unintentionally excessive lever moment in horizontal operations. This makes crane operation faster and smoother and helps protect the cargo, the vehicle and the work environment in the vicinity of the crane against potential damage.

LSS automatically compensates for unintentionally excessive lever moment in vertical operations. This makes crane operation faster and smoother and helps protect the cargo, the vehicle and the work environment in the vicinity of the crane against potential damage.

Load Stability System for vertical movements (LSS-V)

ASC gives a step less increase in lifting capacity of up to 10%, all in one smooth, continuous motion. This feature, unique to Hiab, engages automatically, which means that the operator does not feel or notice a thing. The function activates as you reach the regular capacity limit, meaning that you can still lift the load where other cranes would have come to a complete stop. To compensate for the capacity boost, the speed of the inner and outer boom is slightly reduced. Capacity ceiling, safety and efficiency are significantly increased by this feature.
