REAL SOLUTIONS TO REAL CHALLANGES

Each JONSERED forestry crane has basic features that boost performance, including - a powerful slewing system, intuitive controls and good lifting capacity over the whole reach to make your work accurate and swift.

You also add unique, smart functions for handling special needs. Watch an interactive presentation absout some of the standard and optional features designed to move forests. There is also more to read below.

Safety always comes first
Safety is priority number one in a JONSERED crane, and it starts at the high seat with wide ladders and well-placed handrails. With the addition of a CE kit, you have a cylinder pressure indicator, a high-boom warning system, a load indicator and outrigger sensors. You also have the option of a slope indicator, which causes the crane to idle if the permitted tilt angle is exceeded.

HiVision™ for the next generation forest people
HiVision™ is a new way of operating forestry cranes, using camera-based 3D vision technology. Work efficiently, increase payload and save fuel. You operate your crane as you’ve always done, using the controls you’ve grown accustomed to over the years. The only difference is that you see the work area in special 3D goggles.

Hydraulic pilot control gives you full control
Hydraulic Pilot Control (HPC) is an optional control system that offers smooth and easy operation.Regardless of your choice of control device – conventional or joystick – we promise a feather-touch response.

Wireless scale for quick, accurate loading
JONSERED forestry cranes can be equipped with an easy-to- use wireless scale. The scale provides reliable information to avoid crossing allowed weight limits, which eliminates unnecessary trips and increases productivity. This means a lower risk of system damage and failure.

Stability, smooth handling and low weight with SmartBase™
Give your operators a confident driving experience with SmartBase™. Fitting bolts help spread the forces from the crane through the three-point bridge to the sub-frame and minimise interference with chassis mobility, to make driving the truck a comfortable and smooth experience.

New-generation Hi-Cab™ cabin, enhanced in 125 dimensions
Safety, comfort, from top to bottom, every part of the new-generation Hi-Cab™ cabin is held to these standards. Enhanced in 125 dimensions, Hi-Cab is built to perform with instant benefits and over the long haul. You gain Hi-Vis™ windows, high-performance air-conditioning, OPS-approved door, low-maintenance stainless steel construction, advanced ergonomics and much more.

Hi-Vis™ for pure visibility
The innovative Hi-Vis™ panoramic windows in our Hi-Cab™ offer the industry’s highest visibility factor available in the industry, meaning great all-round visibility from the cabin – for increased productivity and safety. With Hi-Vis™ factor 5 you have 5 times more window than wall.

All-weather protection with nDurance nano-technology
Rain, sand, dust and sunlight are unforgiving forces that wear on a crane all year around. Today, there is nDurance — a technologically advanced and environmentally sound pre-treatment and paint process, based on nanotechnology combined with state-of- the-art e-coating and powder painting. Every square millimetere is covered by three different protective layers, giving you the highest corrosion resistance.

Hose Protection Link (HPL) to guard against blows and sticking
It is important to protect hoses on any crane, but especially in the harsh environment of log handling. Hose Protection Link (HPL) provides extra protection — from the tip of the crane to the rotator — against accidental impacts. The system includes the rotator and hanger to ensure a complete and integrated solution.

High seat lifts performance
Comfort is a priority when working outdoors, especially in extreme conditions. The high seat is comfortable, ergonomic and easy to access. You can adjust your seat forwards, backwards, upwards and downwards, to find your own ideal working position. The high seat can also be heated, or equipped with a protective hood that folds out from behind the operator’s head.

Three-point bridge, built for the road
The right crane makes the difference not only on the job, but also in getting to and from it. In JONSERED forestry cranes, a three-point bridge connects the crane to the truck chassis, minimising the impact on driving characteristics. This means that riding in the cab is a smooth and pleasant experience.
