BUSINESS CONTROLLER, NORTH EUROPE MARKETS

A position responsible for business control and finance within Market Area North Europe (main markets are the Nordic countries, Baltic states, Russia, and Ukraine). That includes responsibility for availability and reliability of adequate financial information/control and for the implementation of applicable Hiab strategy, targets, processes and activities in regards to business control and to secure quality accuracy of Business and Demand Planning within the Market Area.

You will report to Head of Market Area North Europe, and be a member of the MA Management team.

 

The job responsibilities include:

  • The responsibilities include all HIAB related business in the Market Area North Europe (direct as well as indirect) with the overall business control responsibility
  • Manage and lead the financial activities of the Market Area; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards
  • Analyse Business and Market Intelligence in order to have full understanding of realism and risks in Business and Demand Plan
  • Lead, run and secure implementation of applicable business control and finance processes, procedures and actions, run local developments in finance processes, system support and tools
  • Proactively advice the management team in matters related to business control and provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues
  • Lead and manage the business control function/finance team and coordinate and cooperate internally
  • Coordinate information and consolidate MA Business Dashboards

 

Our expectations:

In order to be successful in this position we believe you fulfil the following criteria:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business and Economics
  • +5 years’ experience of business control of leading and developing financial operations
  • High knowledge and experience in finance and business control processes and activities, preferably from international companies
  • Good Communication skills in order to drive finance processes and activities and clearly communicate and implement policies and principles
  • Understanding of business planning process and ability to gather information to create solid MA demand plans
  • Good ability/proven performance in  leadership and experience from working in an international work environment
  • Good knowledge in SAP
  • Strong analytical capabilities,  ability and willingness to drive and execute changes
  • Capable and highly driven person with focus on business results
  • Committed to travel ~40% of time
  • Very good team player with a proactive approach in everyday work
  • Fluent in English and preferable also speak Swedish/Scandinavian

 

Location: Preferable location in Sweden or Finland, one of the main Hiab sites
